For the project our customer in Silver Spring, MD had a very old Screen Room that they were not happy with. The client wanted a bug free environment due to the intense mosquito population in the neighborhood but also an open air space for grilling. The area beneath the deck(lattice storage space) was to stay in order to house gardening equipment. Design Builders designed a pressure treated screen room and deck with hand rails featuring black Deckorators classic balusters. The black aluminum balusters make the space feel more spacious than traditional wooden pickets. There is plenty of room on the interior for entertaining and enough space on the sun deck for grilling. A landing and stairs allows the home owner to access the backyard.
